I am a Sabbatarian. There are many biblical reasons why. And I’ll go into it here sometime. But, in the mean time, let me tell you what happened yesterday. My family worshipped six times.
At 7:30 am we had morning family worship. We read the Bible, sing and pray as a family.
At 10:30 am we had our regular Sunday morning church service complete with the Lord’s Supper.
At 1:30 pm we went to the local supportive living center and led the worship service complete with the Lord’s Supper.
At 6:30 pm we had our regular Sunday night church service complete with the Lord’s Supper.
At 8:30 pm I participated in evening family worship with my cousin and his family while Landon was in the bath.
At 9:00 pm we were putting Landon to bed and he said, “NO!” And he ran to the couch, grabbed the Bible and said, “Read!” So, we read the Bible, sang songs and prayed as a family.
Thank you, Landon, for reminding us that the Lord’s Day (from beginning to end) is about the Lord. Thank you for being unwilling to close out the day without family worship. I love you, baby boy.
